Loft 213 came with its original brick work and metal beams. So in keeping with its industrial style the brief was to add masculine elements, modern simplicity, still with a feel-good space. The challenge was fitting the necessary daily requirements into this small apartment and we did this with careful planning and a lot of thought. The result works perfectly.
When designing a small home it’s about creating pockets of storage where the daily rituals can still happened and then are tucked away for the day. Also using glass and reflective surfaces to get the illusions of space and allowing the light to flow.
